Requirements:

At least 21 years of age
Minimum Experience (tractor Trailer/OTR)
3 months of verifiable, similar, driving experience (Full time, tractor Trailer with >40 foot trailer) in the past 12 months
6 months of verifiable, similar, driving experience in the past 5 years
2 years of verifiable, similar, driving experience in the past 10 years
* Local, tractor trailer experience counts for local positions
* JB Hunt will not consider a Driver with an automatic restriction on their license.
Moving Violations (max in 3 year period)
No more than 3 in the last 3 years
Policy on License suspensions
No more than 30 days in the last 3 years for moving violation
No more than 12 months in the last 3 years for non-moving violation
Must have a valid license for 2 out of last 3 years
DOT Recordable Accidents
No major preventable in the last 3 years
Incidents (max in 3 year period)
No more than 3 incidents in the last 3 years
Ticket / Accident / Incident Combo
No more than 3 accidents and/or tickets
Maximum Major Moving Violation (in the last 3 years)
No more than 1 serious moving violation in the last 3 years
Major Moving Violations- that are automatic DQ’s
No careless or reckless driving convictions. Will review in the last 5 years ONLY in NJ & FL
No rear end or roll over accidents in the last 3 years
* Go by conviction date.
